Overview

Popsters is a tool for the analytics of content and competitors in social networks. Its own description from the machine-readable index llms.txt: the tool "helps to analyse public content in social networks: to assess the effectiveness of publications" (the original is in Russian, this is our translation). Confirmed are competitor analysis and work with hashtags. The index the tool keeps on the site especially for reading by programs.

The interface language of the homepage is Russian; the site does not declare hreflang and contains no language switcher.

The work begins with authorization, and it cannot be got round: without logging in, search and analysis are unavailable (FAQ). Logging in is possible only through a social network — there is no login by email address. The tool explains this by saying that it is precisely this authorization that gives it access to the data, including to closed pages of VKontakte and Odnoklassniki, and lets it take into account the user's regional settings.

The tool's model of authorization is twofold: OAuth 2.0 for most networks, and for Telegram a login by a one-time code, as in the messenger itself. The vendor stresses that "the OAuth 2.0 protocol allows you to authorize absolutely safely, without passing the tool any protected information such as an email address or a password" (the original is in Russian, this is our translation). The reservation is important: this assertion is true for OAuth and does not extend to the login by a one-time code in Telegram.

Which platforms it works with

The lists in three places diverge, and the difference is small but substantial.

llms.txt names ten platforms: VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, Telegram, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), Threads, MAX.

The "Platforms" section in the footer of the homepage gives nine links of the form "<platform> Analytics" (in Russian, our translation of the label): Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Telegram, VKontakte, TikTok, Odnoklassniki, MAX. Threads is not in this list, although in llms.txt it is.

Separate attention is deserved by a rare thing: the tool itself limits the list. In llms.txt it warns outright that Pinterest, Coub, Flickr and Tumblr should not be indicated as supported without confirmation on the site.

Pricing

The prices below are as of 27 July 2026 by the pricing page and may have changed since.

The model of payment is for each social network separately: one pays not for an account, not for a user and not for a brand, but for a connected network.

The plans: a month 799 RUB, half-yearly 3,999 RUB (−17%), annual 7,399 RUB (−23%) — for one social network. The minimum price, accordingly, is 799 RUB for one network for 30 days. There is one currency — roubles. The plans are divided into personal and corporate. Non-cash settlement is available only when paying for a term from half a year.

What is free

There is no permanent free plan; there is a trial one: by the pricing page — free of charge, ten uploads and an export to XLSX for seven days, activated by launching an analysis of pages.

Restrictions

Three restrictions the tool names itself, and all three change the way of working.

The results are not stored. The analysed publications are not saved on the server: the data lie in the temporary memory of the browser and are erased when the page is refreshed (FAQ). The tool explains this by saying that otherwise it would have to give up unlimited plans. The practical consequence: the result of an analysis cannot be returned to later, it must be exported at once.

No more than ten pages at a time. At one time no more than ten pages can be analysed — the analysis goes on in the browser, and with a greater number the speed drops. More pages can be gone through in turn, but shown on one chart — no.

Login only through a social network. Without a working account in the network being analysed the tool cannot be used.

How you earn with it

An affiliate programme is not announced: the footer of the homepage holds only the sections of the social networks, the plans, the FAQ, the blog, the studies and the legal documents.

What it will not do

There will be no constant observation of the indicators. The tool writes outright that it analyses only publications, and that the growth of followers by date cannot be viewed (FAQ). The reason it connects not with technology but with the arrangement of the plan: what is paid for is a social network as a whole, not each tracked page.

To return to yesterday's analysis will not work either — on the server it is not saved.

To bring more than ten pages together on one chart the tool will not let you.

To log in without an account in a social network is impossible: there is no registration by mail.

Pinterest, Coub, Flickr and Tumblr the tool asks not to be considered supported without confirmation on its site.
