LTX Studio
Tool · this deep dive is built from the official pages of the platform itself and of the tools that support it.
Overview
LTX Studio is an environment for producing video from the company Lightricks. The set of instruments according to the tool's page is a broad one: "Text-to-Video", "Text-to-Image", "Image-to-Video", "Script-to-Video", "AI Video to Video", "AI Storyboard Generator", "Pitch Deck Generator", "Audio-to-Video generation", "SDR to HDR video enhancement", "Flows, node-based automation", "Video-to-Video Control", and also the storing of persistent characters and objects — "Save and create consistent Elements".
The models are its own and other people's: its own LTX-2.3 and the third-party Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0 Pro, Seedance 2.0, FLUX.2 Pro, Nano Banana 2, ChatGPT Images 2.0. The former address ltx.studio redirects (301) to ltx.io/studio.
Which platforms it works with
The tool announces no platforms for publishing. What are announced are the LTX API, the LTX-2 Playground with documentation and corporate access. Uploading to the social networks is not announced; the fact is partial: what are listed are methods of embedding, not platforms.
Pricing
The prices are from the pricing page, the currency is US dollars. Lite — "$15 /month", with annual payment "$12 /month", "Billed yearly $144". Standard (Popular) — "$35 /month", with annual payment "$28 /month", "Billed yearly $336". Pro — "$125", with annual payment "$100 /month", "Billed yearly $1,200". Enterprise — on request.
About the discounts. Two notices hang on the page: "Save 50% for Cyber Monday" and "FLUX.2 promotional offer valid until December 12, 2025". Both are out of date: the term expired in December 2025, and the check was made on 4 August 2026. Considering these discounts to be in force is not possible: an expired notice does not make a rate a live one.
What is free
The Free plan is announced as permanent — "$0 Forever", "No billing" — but it is arranged unusually.
The credits are given once. "800 credits (one time)" — not per month but one time only: when they run out, the free work runs out too.
There are many capabilities, at that. Included are the generation of images and video, the LTX-2.3 and Z-image models, "Advanced camera controls", "Blank Storyboards" and the whole set listed above: what is cut down is the volume, not the composition.
The licence is personal, the prohibition direct. "Personal use license. For personal projects only. Cannot be used for business, marketing, or paid work" — not permitted for business, for promotion or for work to order. And a fourth point: removal of the watermark ("No watermarking") is announced starting from the paid Lite — which means that on Free the mark stays.
Restrictions
The unit of the limit is credits, but on the page there are straight away two of them. Free — "800 credits (one time)". Lite — "8,000 credits/month". Standard — "28,000 credits/month" plus "28,800 additional Computing Seconds / month for the first 3 months": here is where the second unit appears, and the addition is temporary. How the seconds relate to the credits is not explained. Pro — "110,000 credits/month", "3 collaborators per project", "On-demand credit top-ups"; for Standard an extra purchase is announced as well, "Purchase additional Credits".
What one generation costs in credits the page does not name.
There are no requirements to mark what has been created by a machine in the terms in force: no obligation to label, and no words "watermark", "metadata", "provenance", "C2PA". The watermark is mentioned only on the pricing page — a question of the plan, not a rule of the contract.
Rights to the output
Lightricks' terms are laid out not as a page but as a PDF file; the edition in force is marked "Current (updated May 2026)". Ownership is announced: "you own the Output (excluding any Stock Content or other third party materials)".
And right there is a reservation that is rarely met in such a direct form: "you further acknowledge that pursuant to applicable law, it may be the case that you have no ownership rights, including copyrights, in the AI-generated Output". The tool itself warns that under the law you may have no rights at all to what has been created by AI.
Commercial use is tied to the plan: "you may use the Output for any Personal Use, and if your applicable Tier includes Commercial Use, you may use the Output for any Commercial Use". The definition is a broad one — "direct or indirect commercial or business purposes or direct or indirect monetary compensation": indirect benefit counts too, and the free plan does not include commercial use.
Do they train on your data
They do train, it is permitted outright, and no opting out is provided for. Lightricks obtains a "worldwide, non-exclusive, fully-paid, royalty-free, irrevocable, sublicensable and transferable license to use the Input you provide, the Output and your Account information including your or any third-party's name, voice, image, likeness" — not only what has been entered and created, but also the name, the voice, the image and the likeness, yours or a third party's.
The purpose is named outright: "for Lightricks' internal purposes to improve our products and services and for training purposes of any artificial intelligence-based models, now known or existing in the future" — the training of any models, including those that do not yet exist. The only reservation: "the personal data of Individual Users will not be used for the training any artificial intelligence-based models, unless we obtain such User's consent". What is taken out of the training is the personal data of individual users — and only that. The licence is irrevocable and survives the termination of the contract; there is no mechanism for opting out in the text.
How you earn with it
Commercial use here is tied to the plan, and this is said outright. The terms: "you may use the Output for any Personal Use, and if your applicable Tier includes Commercial Use, you may use the Output for any Commercial Use". That is, the right to put what is made to work is included not in every plan but in those where it is stated.
The definition of "Commercial Use" is a broad one: "any use of the Platform for direct or indirect commercial or business purposes or direct or indirect monetary compensation". Indirect benefit counts too — a clip for your own channel that promotes your service falls under that definition.
The free plan is taken out of such work by the direct text of the pricing page: "Personal use license. For personal projects only. Cannot be used for business, marketing, or paid work". The watermark is there as well: "No watermarking" is announced starting from the paid Lite.
And a reservation that sits above the plans: the same terms warn that "pursuant to applicable law, it may be the case that you have no ownership rights, including copyrights, in the AI-generated Output". A permission to sell and the existence of copyright are different things.
What it will not do
It will not let you work to order for free: the free plan directly forbids use "for business, marketing, or paid work", and the watermark stays. It will not renew the free credits: the 800 are issued one time only. It will not permit commercial use outside a suitable plan.
It does not guarantee rights to what has been created: the terms themselves warn that under the law you may have no copyright in the output of AI. It will not offer you a way out of the training: the licence is irrevocable and there is no mechanism for opting out.
It will not give you the discounts from the page: the terms of the promotions expired in December 2025. It will not publish to the social networks itself. It will not oblige you to mark what has been created by a machine — there are no labelling requirements in the terms in force at all.

partial — the service publishes no general list of prompt languages. The official documentation covers only speech on screen: «Voice — Characters can talk and sing in multiple languages», and for the Dub-It line replacement tool, verbatim, «Languages currently validated: English, French, Spanish, German, Russian», with the requirement «Use native script — write dialogue in the alphabet of the target language (e.g., Cyrillic for Russian, Chinese characters for Mandarin)» and an example line in Russian. Russian is confirmed outright; Chinese is mentioned only as an example of a script; ARABIC AND HINDI are named nowhere

$15 /month — the Lite plan on MONTHLY billing (8,000 credits a month, upscaling, editing tools, no watermark). Paid yearly — $12 /month, «Billed yearly $144». The next tiers: Standard $35 /month ($28 paid yearly, «Billed yearly $336») and Pro $125 /month ($100 paid yearly, «Billed yearly $1,200»). The currency is USD. There is a free plan — $0, 800 credits one-off, «Personal use license... Cannot be used for business, marketing, or paid work»; a commercial licence starts only from Standard
the monthly price is taken, as the brief requires. As of 7 August 2026 expired promotional banners hang on the page — «Save 50% for Cyber Monday» and a footnote «FLUX.2 promotional offer valid until December 12, 2025»; the base plan prices were taken from the main values in the cards rather than from the promotion. A separate note on the difference between plans: commercial use of the result is available only from $35/month, while Lite and Free are personal

Restrictions
The Acceptable Use Policy (rev. 30 March 2026), binding under ToS §7.1. Forbidden: everything connected with the exploitation of children (CSAM, grooming, fetishising minors); incitement to violence, terrorism and hatred, «promote discriminatory practices or behaviors against individuals or groups on the basis of protected attributes»; breaches of privacy and «impersonate a human by presenting results as human-generated»; psychologically harmful content — self-harm, bullying, «generate content depicting sexual violence», cruelty to animals, «generate violent or gory content inspired by real acts of violence»; the section «Do Not Spread Misinformation» — «create and disseminate deceptive or misleading information», «create and advance conspiratorial narratives», «impersonate real entities or create fake personas without consent»; fraud, spam, counterfeiting, pyramid schemes; the section «Do Not Generate Sexually Explicit Content» — any sexually explicit content; training competing AI models on the output. MEDICINE is named outright: it is forbidden to «provide advice on essential services, including in the medical or health field, without review by a qualified professional and disclosure of the use of AI assistance and its potential limitations». REAL PEOPLE — ToS §4.4 «Clearance»: «You may not use the Platform to generate Output that contains the name, image, likeness, appearance, voice, persona, or biographical information of any person, celebrity or otherwise, without securing clearance for such use»
the address of the AUP was extracted from a hyperlink inside the PDF of the Terms of Service themselves (in the text the link is wrapped in a Check Point corporate redirect, and the direct static.lightricks.com address was used); of the eight services, only LTX and Luma state a ban on images of real people and on medical advice outright

Legal
the terms (Lightricks Ltd.): "you own the Output (excluding any Stock Content or other third party materials therein)", but immediately with the caveat "you further acknowledge that pursuant to applicable law, it may be the case that you have no ownership rights, including copyrights, in the AI-generated Output"; commercial use is tied to the plan: "you may use the Output for any Personal Use, and if your applicable Tier includes Commercial Use, you may use the Output for any Commercial Use"; "Commercial Use" is defined as "any use of the Platform for direct or indirect commercial or business purposes or direct or indirect monetary compensation"
the terms are published not as a page but as PDF files; the version in force is marked "Current (updated May 2026)"

the terms give Lightricks a "worldwide, non-exclusive, fully-paid, royalty-free, irrevocable, sublicensable and transferable license to use the Input you provide, the Output and your Account information including your or any third-party’s name, voice, image, likeness", including "for Lightricks’ internal purposes to improve our products and services and for training purposes of any artificial intelligence-based models, now known or existing in the future", with the single caveat "provided however that the personal data of Individual Users will not be used for the training any artificial intelligence-based models, unless we obtain such User’s consent"; the licence survives termination of the contract; the terms describe no opt-out from training
training is allowed outright, no opt-out is provided for; only the personal data of individual users is excluded
source, checked 2026-08-04
There is an opt-out, but a partial one and only for personal data. Terms of Service §6.2 grant Lightricks a licence over Input, Output and account data, including «name, voice, image, likeness», for purposes including «(iii) for Lightricks' internal purposes to improve our products and services and for training purposes of any artificial intelligence-based models, now known or existing in the future», with a caveat — verbatim: «provided however that the personal data of Individual Users will not be used for the training any artificial intelligence-based models, unless we obtain such User's consent». The Privacy Policy confirms and specifies the mechanism: «Processing Face and Voice Models and the Personal Data included in the Inputs for the purpose of AI training and machine learning is based on your consent. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time». So consent can be withdrawn for face/voice models and for personal data in the input; training on de-identified Input and Output runs on «legitimate interest», and the documents describe no way of opting out of that. The licence survives termination of the contract
the service's terms are a PDF; ltx.io/studio carries a pointer link https://static.lightricks.com/legal/ltxstudio-terms-of-use.pdf, from which the address of the current revision (updated May 2026) was taken; the Privacy Policy is https://static.lightricks.com/legal/Privacy%20Policy%20-%20LTX%20Platform.pdf. The robots.txt of ltx.io was read in full (only /cdn-cgi/ is closed), and static.lightricks.com has no robots.txt — S3 returns 403 AccessDenied, so no prohibition is established
