Crisp
Tool · this deep dive is built from the official pages of the platform itself and of the tools that support it.
Overview
Crisp is a multichannel chat for communicating with customers: messages from different sources are brought together into one inbox. The self-description from the homepage: "Crisp is the ultimate all-in-one AI-powered multichannel messaging platform that helps businesses connect instantly with their customers or leads who are waiting for support." Epithets like "ultimate" are the tool's own words about itself; the phrase is quoted as captured, breaking off mid-sentence.
Ten language versions are declared: de, en, es, fi, fr, ja, nl, pl, pt, tr. The markup of the homepage is en. For a support tool this matters: the interface and the materials exist in European languages and in Japanese.
Like other chat centres, Crisp is occupied with correspondence, not with publishing. It does not put posts out into feeds — it takes in and handles what comes in.
Which platforms it works with
The list is taken from the "Messaging" category in the catalogue of integrations — these are the channels that are connected into the inbox. The names are given as in the catalogue:
Instagram, Twitter DM, Discord, Messenger, Twilio SMS, Discord Tickets, Viber, WhatsApp, Line, Telegram, Ebay Messages.
A few clarifications on the names. "Messenger" in the catalogue is Facebook Messenger. "Twitter DM" is direct messages specifically, not the feed. Discord is represented by two cards: the ordinary integration and a separate "Discord Tickets". "Twilio SMS" and "Ebay Messages" do not belong to social networks — they are an SMS gateway and the correspondence of a trading platform, but in the inbox they stand alongside the rest.
From the same category of the catalogue we excluded the cards Dropbox Integration and Google Play Reviews: they add no channel of correspondence.
How you earn with it
The programme is announced, but it is arranged not in the usual way. On the partnership page two programmes are described — the Marketing Program and the Technology Program; the programme itself is set out at the bottom of the page. The customary addresses /en/affiliate/, /en/partners/ and /en/referral/ return 404.
The commission is a choice of two. The tool's wording: "Get a 20 % discount code with a free trial or 20 % cashback with an affiliate link". Either you get a discount code of 20 % and a free trial period — and hand the benefit to your audience — or you take 20 % cashback for yourself through an affiliate link. Both at once are not on offer.
The term is one year. "Every discount or cashback works for 1 year as soon as a new customer subscribes to the Essentials or Plus plans". From here follows a restriction by plan as well: the commission is counted only off the Essentials and Plus plans. A customer who stayed on another plan brings no income.
An obligatory condition of entry. Admission goes by application, but approval is not enough: the partner is obliged to publish an article or other material about Crisp and about the partnership. This is not a recommendation but a named condition of the programme.
The Technology Program is a separate branch, for applications embedded into the tool's marketplace; it has no bearing on the reselling of subscriptions.
What it will not do
It will not let you into the programme without a publication about itself. Material about Crisp and about the partnership is an obligatory condition, named in the block of terms.
It will not pay off the lower and the higher plans, other than Essentials and Plus. The restriction by plan is named directly.
It will not pay for longer than a year. Twelve months from the new customer's subscription is the limit for both the discount and the cashback.
It will not give both the discount and the cashback at once. The wording "or" means a choice of one of the two.
It will not show a separate document with the terms of the programme. There is no separate page of terms — everything that is known is set out in the block at the bottom of the partnership page.
