Bettermode
Tool · this deep dive is built from the official pages of the platform itself and of the tools that support it.
Overview
Bettermode is a tool for communities on your own platform rather than in someone else's social networks: customer portals, support forums, discussion sections under your own brand. This is how it describes itself: "Build branded customer portals, support forums, and engagement hubs with Bettermode's AI-powered community platform. Start today" (homepage). That self-description is the tool's own claim about itself, not an independent assessment; the label "AI-powered" belongs to it as well.
The difference from schedulers is fundamental: here the community lives at your place, and the social networks at best receive notifications about what is happening.
The interface language of the homepage is English, taken from the markup attribute; the markup declares no other language versions (homepage).
The site is prepared to be read by programs: there is a machine-readable index llms.txt of 7,297 characters. The length is our own measurement as of the date of the check, not a claim by the tool.
Which platforms it works with
The app catalogue holds seventeen entries, but only two of them are social platforms: Slack and Discord (app catalogue).
And both are receivers of community notifications. That is, an event in your community can arrive in Slack or Discord; the source claims no traffic in the opposite direction, still less publishing to social networks.
The other fifteen entries are not platforms: Zendesk, Salesforce, HubSpot, Jira, Intercom, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Zapier, Mailchimp, Fullstory, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Hotjar and others are support, sales, mailings and counters. They cannot be entered as "supported platforms" merely because they sit in the integrations catalogue.
How you earn with it
No affiliate programme is announced (homepage).
The check was not a superficial one: besides the addresses /affiliate, /affiliates, /partners and /referral, all four of which return 404, we read the sitemap https://bettermode.com/sitemap.xml — 568 addresses, and there are no pages about an affiliate programme among them. There are no links to a programme in the homepage markup either.
What it will not do
Bettermode does not undertake to publish to social networks for you: out of the entire catalogue, Slack and Discord are the social platforms, and both are receivers of notifications only.
The tool does not offer to pay you for clients you bring in: no responding page, no mention in a sitemap of 568 addresses, no link in the homepage markup.
The sources we checked name no prices, no boundaries for a free tier and no limits of any kind — which is why this deep dive has no sections on pricing, on the free tier or on restrictions. The "Start today" call on the homepage is no substitute for terms and promises nothing free.
The markup declares no language versions other than English — that is silence on the markup's part, not confirmed monolingualism.
