The list is built from verifiable signs of a connection with the region: the platform's home market, an interface language of one of the region's countries, a mention of a country of the region in the platform's documents, and the size of its audience here as published by the company itself.
The first three signs speak of a connection existing, not of how popular the platform is. The fourth says more: the company printed that figure itself, in an annual report, a mandatory disclosure or an official blog. There is not a single third-party audience estimate here.
