Post Planner
Tool · this deep dive is built from the official pages of the platform itself and of the tools that support it.
Overview
Post Planner describes itself like this: "Social media scheduler BUILT FOR ENGAGEMENT. Publish the best social media content in your industry. Every day. Effortlessly" (home page). This is a self-description: "the best content in your industry" and "effortlessly" are the tool's promises about itself, not measurements, and there is nothing in our sources to confirm them.
What is checkable in this phrase is the word scheduler. The tool positions itself as a scheduler of posts for social networks, and the list of platforms examined below confirms this: each of them has its own page with a description of what exactly is being scheduled.
The interface language of the home page is English. Other language versions the markup does not declare.
Which platforms it works with
The list is taken from the "Social Networks" menu on the home page and consists of ten platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Google Business, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter/X, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky.
This is a rare case where the list speaks not only about names. Each platform in the menu carries its own caption about what exactly is put into the schedule: somewhere posts, somewhere Reels, stories and carousels, somewhere pins, somewhere video. That is, the tool distinguishes formats inside a platform rather than declaring support as a whole. A concrete listing of "which format for which platform" the page does not give — visible is only that the captions differ.
About the arrangement of the site, one technical detail that helps to check such lists. The general address /social-networks returns a 404, while separate pages of the form /social-networks/facebook exist. This is exactly a healthy sign: the server honestly answers with an error to a non-existent address, which means the platform pages that did open can be trusted — they are real, and not a stub returning one and the same view to any request.
How you earn with it
An affiliate programme is announced as the Post Planner Affiliate Program; the link stands in the footer of the site, the address /affiliate redirects to the same place.
The commission is "30% commission on all payments within the first 18 months". The crediting is recurring: the thirty percent go both from the first payment and from renewals ("on all initial sales and renewals"), but no longer than eighteen months from the start. A year and a half is a boundary, not an indefinite income.
On the page an example calculation is given: from the Growth plan at 59 USD a month it comes out at 17.70 USD a month. The number 59 is taken from the affiliate programme page, not from the pricing page. As a reference point for calculating the commission it will do; as a price list it will not.
The click tag lives 30 days: "Our tracking cookie lasts for 30 days".
The minimum sum for a payout is named outright — "The minimum payout threshold is $50". Having reached the threshold, you receive the money in the nearest cycle: payouts run on the 25th of every month for the previous month's commissions.
There is one method of withdrawal — PayPal. Other options the page does not name.
Who is admitted — "Anyone with an audience interested in social media marketing can join", and it is separately stipulated: "There's no minimum audience size requirement". Participation is free. Paid advertising is allowed to partners, but with a formulated prohibition: bidding on Post Planner brand queries is not allowed.
There is no separate page with the terms of the programme — the button from the page leads to the sign-up form. There is no full text of the rules, other than the answers to questions on the page itself.
What it will not do
The programme will not pay you forever for one referred client: the thirty percent go no longer than eighteen months, after that the crediting stops.
Withdrawing the money past PayPal will not work: there are no other methods on the page. Receiving a payout without having accumulated 50 USD will not work either — the threshold is announced outright.
Promoting yourself in search on the name of the tool itself is forbidden to partners: bidding on Post Planner brand queries the terms exclude.
