Overview
Dub is a tool for short links and the accounting of clicks. The self-description from the homepage: "Dub is the modern link attribution platform for short links, conversion tracking, and affiliate programs." The three tasks named are the shortening of links, the tracking of conversions and the servicing of other people's affiliate programmes.
This is important to grasp before you start fitting the tool to social networks: Dub does not publish posts, does not collect account statistics and does not answer messages. It lives one level below — on the links you put into posts, and on what happens after a click.
The interface language of the homepage is en; no other language versions are declared by the markup.
Which platforms it works with
There are no social platforms among the integrations. The integrations page contains 24 entries — WordPress, Shopify, Google Tag Manager, Make, Segment, Stripe, Raycast, Slack, Zapier, Make.com, Acme, Dub CLI, Better Auth, Cal.com, MindCloud, Intercom, Dub MCP, Polar, Hubspot, Typefully, Supabase, Appwrite, Clerk, Publer (integrations catalogue).
Not a single social network is in this list. There are analytics systems, payment acceptance, CRM, automation builders and two tools connected with content for social networks (Typefully, Publer) — but the platforms themselves are not connected, because there is no point connecting them to a short-link tool.
The practical conclusion: Dub fits into work with social networks not through accounts but through links — you put a short link into a post on any platform, and it works regardless of whether that platform is supported by anyone or not.
How you earn with it
An affiliate programme is announced and runs on the tool's own platform — Dub Partners; the dashboard lives at the address partners.dub.co/dub. The "Affiliates" link stands in the footer of the homepage, the address /affiliates leads to the dashboard, while /affiliate and /referral return 404.
The rate. "Earn 30 % per sale for 1 year" — 30 % of a sale over the course of a year. The customer brought in gets their own benefit at the same time: "New users get 20 % off for 3 months", a discount for the first three months.
The term of the accruals is one year from the sales of the customer brought in.
About the figures on the page. The programme's calculator shows that ten sales give 900 dollars a month. That is an illustration by the tool itself under the assumptions it has chosen, not a promise of income and not our assertion; how much a particular affiliate will earn does not follow from it.
How they pay. "Commissions are payable via Stripe" — and if Stripe is unavailable in the affiliate's country, then through PayPal. A third possibility is declared as well: a wallet for stablecoins. The terms are taken from the Dub Partner Terms — the programme, unlike many, has a separate published document.
A payout threshold is named, but without a figure. The terms say: if a minimum payout amount is set for the programme, a payout is possible only once it is reached. The sum itself for the Dub programme is not named — the mechanism is described, the value is not.
Who is admitted. Admission is by application (the Apply button). A valid account and a configured payout method are needed. The affiliate is themselves responsible for compliance with tax and migration law — the reservation is set out in the terms.
About the bans — with a reservation. Fraud detection operates on the platform, including self-referral and paid advertising. In the programme's questions section there are questions about Google Ads and about self-referral, but the answers to them are collapsed and absent from the markup of the page — reading them did not succeed. That is, we know that these subjects are regulated, but not exactly how: whether paid advertising is allowed with conditions or forbidden outright, the source does not show.
What it will not do
It will not connect a single social platform. That is a verified fact, not a silence: the integrations catalogue was read in its entirety, and there are no social networks in it.
It will not pay for longer than a year. Twelve months is the limit of the accruals.
It will not name the payout threshold as a figure. The terms describe the rule but do not give the sum for Dub's own programme.
It will not pay out without a configured payout method and a valid account. Both conditions are named outright.
It will not take on your tax obligations. The terms place compliance with tax and migration law directly on the affiliate.
