CapCut

Tool · this deep dive is built from the official pages of the platform itself and of the tools that support it.

Overview

CapCut is a video editor, not a publishing scheduler, and from the pages checked this is seen most clearly in what it does not have: a list of channels for publishing.

The site is noticeably multilingual. The hreflang markup on the tool's page declares 25 language versions: ar, cs, de, el, en, es, fi, fr, he, hu, id, it, ja, ko, nl, pl, pt, ro, ru, sv, th, tr, uk, vi, zh. The language of the page checked is Dutch (nl-NL), taken from the markup attribute. The figure 25 is our own count of the hreflang links, not a statement of the source: on the page itself there is no such figure.

The site is prepared for reading by programs: there is a machine-readable index llms.txt of 8429 characters. The length of the file is our own measurement on the date of the check, not a claim of the tool: the file changes along with the documentation.

Of the instruments relating to work with social networks, the index names outright an analysis of hashtags — the entry "TikTok Hashtag Guide: TikTok discovery and…" (llms.txt). That is, materials about TikTok hashtags the tool does have.

Which platforms it works with

A list of supported platforms the tool does not publish — this is a verified result, not a gap in the collection. The pages /integrations, /platforms and /channels answer with code 404. Also checked were /features, /tools and the help centre: social networks — TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook — are named there only as a format or a destination for a finished video in marketing text, and a list of integrations or of channels for publishing is not there.

The difference is a material one. "Make a video in a format for TikTok" and "publish a video to TikTok from the tool" are different functions, and the second is not declared on the pages checked.

Pricing

The current address of the pricing page could not be established: capcut.com/pricing returns 404, and the "pricing page" found earlier led to /template-detail/default-tool, that is, to a page of an instrument and not to a price list. The response codes and the addresses here are our own measurements during reading, not statements of the source.

An indirect figure does exist all the same, and it comes from another section: on the affiliate programme page a calculation of the commission from ten annual subscriptions at 89.99 USD is given. That is an example from the affiliate calculator, not a line of the price list of the CapCut Pro subscription; taking it for the official price of the plan is not allowed, but there are no other figures about cost in the sources checked.

How you earn with it

An affiliate programme is announced — the CapCut Affiliate Program, the accounting and the payouts going through the Impact network; alongside it an internal referral programme works in the app at the same rate (programme page). The "Affiliates" link stands in the footer of the site and in the Partners section.

The terms of the commission the tool formulates thus: "Free to join. Up to 35% recurring commission", and it promises "earn up to $15,000 commissions". The words "up to" here belong to the tool, as does the sum: this is its statement about an upper boundary, not our calculation and not a promise of income. Tiers in the programme exist — at a certain number of subscribers a move to the next tier with a higher commission is possible — but the thresholds of the tiers are not named on the page.

The commission is recurring, however the term over which the payouts repeat is not limited and not named on the page.

Payouts: Impact requires a minimum balance of 10 USD (or an approximate equivalent in the local currency) before withdrawal — verbatim, "Impact requires a minimum balance of $10 USD (or the approximate equivalent in your local currency) before you can withdraw". Withdrawal is to a bank account or PayPal through the Impact platform, monthly (FAQ on the programme page).

Who is admitted: content authors, publishers and influencers. You need to register as a partner on Impact and apply to the programme, consideration usually taking 5 business days; participation is free.

An important restriction by geography: the commission is accrued only for qualified new subscribers to CapCut Pro from the USA, the United Kingdom, Germany and France (programme page). A subscriber brought in from another country yields no commission.

What it will not do

The difference between "the source does not say" and "the tool does not support" is fundamental here, and almost everything below is the first.

A list of channels for publishing the tool does not give. The typical integration addresses, the pages of features and instruments and the help centre have been checked — a list of social networks the tool publishes to is not there. Planning the release of posts on a schedule, judging by the open pages, is not offered.

An open pricing page could not be found, so comparing the cost of CapCut Pro with other tools from a verified source is not possible.

The lifetime of the affiliate click tag is not named — the accounting is kept on Impact's side, and the parameters of the tracking are not disclosed on the programme page.

There is no separate page of the affiliate programme terms: in the footer of the site there are only the general Terms of Service and Creator Terms of Service, and the full text of the programme rules is not published in the open.

The thresholds of the commission tiers are not named — it is known only that the tiers exist and that as the number of subscribers grows a move to a higher rate is possible. What number of subscribers is needed for that the tool does not write.
